If six million had been enough to make a footballer out of Andy Carroll, we wouldn't have bought Haller.

Therefore, the Steve Austin stuff was shit.

Managed to spirit away a few Gong Show tapes (there were a lot) that got repurposed to record the band I was in at the time.

Personally I’d rather have met Barbara Feldon from Get Smart
Series created by Mel Brooks of course.

My temp job was part of an office move and I catalogued, boxed up and then rearanged their tape archive in the new building.
He came for the office opening.

For some strange reason I used to watch Eddie Capri on a friday night and ALWAYS Quincy, MD.

It took me a while to recover from finding out that modelling myself on Mr Klugman did not make me attractive to ladies.

The Clangers were great, part of my earl life. First of his I remember was Pogles Wood which just washes over you.
Pagpuss was great but Noggin the Nog was a bit dull.
I actually met him as I did a temp job for Talbot TV and they did the distribution for his programmes. God he was a grumpy bastard, never meet your heroes.

"Get Smart..."

When I was a kid it was on in syndication at 6:00am on a Saturday morning or something like that. I hated wasting time sleeping even then and would be up and it became one of my favourites.

Re: The Six Million Dollar Man
Both Get Smart and Hogan's Heroes were on in the UK, along with Stalag 13, Car 54 where are you, Gilligan's Island an a host of other yank shit.

Friday evenings, most of them, if I recall.

The Fugitive/The Invaders were better.

Jack was the Conductor, Northern
Only BIRDS were clippies
Bob Grant who played Jack ended up killing himself

Remember working out Reg Varney was 55 when he played Stan chasing the 20 something clippies. Classic

Re: The Six Million Dollar Man
As a kid in Australia, Get Smart and Hogan's Heroes were on every day and I think still are. I don't remember either ever being on on UK TV. I don't even remember seeing Batman.
